Craig Piefer

Craig is a passionate guy. He is passionate about his family. He’s passionate about outdoor recreation. He is passionate about helping others in any way he can. 

Craig is married to the love of his life, Diana. Craig and Diana have one adult daughter, one high school-age daughter, and two middle school boys. The Piefers have had their kids in BV schools from preschool through high school graduation, they have their fingers on the pulse of our great community.

Craig takes his recreation seriously. As a matter of fact, he has a degree in Outdoor Recreation from Eastern Washington University. He loves skiing and mountain biking and can be found on local trails and slopes as often as he can get out there. Craig also serves as the executive director for Buena Vista Singletrack Coalition, a nonprofit that creates and maintains sustainable, human-powered trails in and around Buena Vista. If outdoor recreation is one of the reasons you are moving to Buena Vista, you have to come to talk to him.

Craig’s passion for helping others first led him into ministry. He was a pastor for fifteen years in Washington State and here in Colorado. During that time Craig and Diana dabbled in Real Estate. They bought and sold property as well as managing their own and other’s long and short-term rentals, always putting relationships before revenue. When Craig was ready to step down from full-time ministry, Real Estate was a natural fit to continue to help others in what is most important to them - home.
